The world cup is around the corner, there will be a new patch and it is being developed, this version will have a lot of national teams added to the patch, the basic patch will be made for pes 2018, then it will be adapted for pes 2017 normally a week after the first release of this edition.
The main changes in this version:
National Teams:
we are adding a lot of new national teams, any of the new national teams can be selected to participate in the world cup, also all these teams can be used in master league and be a legend modes.

new national teams that will be added in the world cup special edition are:
(Moldova, Cape Verde, San Marino, Faroe Islands, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Kenya, Haiti, Congo, Libya, Sudan, Kosovo, Andorra, Myanmar, Gibraltar, Afghanistan, El Salvador, Tajikistan)
Konami Data Pack
whenever konami releases a new datapack we always include in the following version of the patch, the latest DP4 will be included in X20.
Kits:
all new teams will have real kits, updated to the latest designs as much as possible, teams already i the game will have a kits review as well, new kits added by konami latest DLC will be applied to their respective teams.
Compatibility:
the new patch will be made to be compatible with all versions (steam or not),
for X20 the option in the installer to choose version as in older versions (X17) will be restored, (false positive might be signaled by antivirus)
Squads:
we do not update national squads unless there is an official call-up list, this world cup 23 players squads expected to be announced by the nations near the end of this month, the lineups will be updated accordingly.
All In One versions:
patch for 2017 and 2018 will be full (all in one) versions, no updates from previous versions will be available to minimize conflicts and errors in installation procedure.
Various enhancements:
as in all new versions, we always tweak, update and enhance many aspects of the game.
Release Date:
the release date is linked with the squads announcements, the patch should be ready near the 15th of this month, but expected to be released after the call-ups are finished, unless we release it before and make a small squad update after the teams are confirmed, this will be under study as we progress.
