PES 2018 PC EDIT00000000 to PS4 .ted File Exporter v1.1 by Zlac

PES 2018 PC EDIT00000000 to PS4 .ted File Exporter by Zlac

Developed as a companion tools to SMcCutcheon's PS4 PESEditor2018 - this tool extracts .ted files from PC EDIT file and produces .ted files in PS4 format.

A tool that will hopefully ease the process and change PS4 editing completely. This tool will do the following:

- Extract and create a PS4-compatible .ted file for every team in your PC option file without the need to extract every team individually from the in-game editor.
- Thanks to the coding of the tool, there is no need to reset gameplans either, thus making the process quick and as simple as possible.
- [NEW in v1.1] Extract imported kits and stadium preview files in .png format

Thanks to the coding of the tool, there is no need to reset gameplans either, thus making the process quick and as simple as possible.

What this tool WILL NOT do:

export all graphics attached to the teams (kits, logos, manager and stadium pictures imported via edit mode) - you get .ted files plus kits and stadium preview .png files only

INSTRUCTIONS

By using a PC option file and the likes of one of the more complete option file editors like ejogc327's PES2018 Editor you can edit an option file to your specification and save it.

1. Copy the entire save folder from a PC game (containing at least encrypted EDIT00000000 file) into the same folder as the extractor (TED_exporter.exe).

1a. folder name must be 'save' - rename it if necessary
1b. if you want to extract imported .png gfx files too (kits and stadium previews), then save folder must include FILELIST00000000 file and all the necessary UNIFORM*, UNIFORMLOW* and STADIUM* files
2. Double-click TED_exporter.exe to extract the .ted files for every team in the option file.
3. Decrypted PS4-compatible .ted files (and .png gfx, if available) can be found in subfolder exports.
4. Edit .ted files further with @SMcCutcheon's PS4 PESEditor2018 if needed.
5. Encrypt the final .ted files using Panos’ or zlac’s .ted encrypters, then send the encrypted files to the WEPES folder on a USB before importing into PS4.

Limitations and modding on PC that may/will cause issues on PS4

  • Adding player IDs (unless players are created in the same way as a player that has been made via liveupdate).
  • Modding teams, either changing ID or creating a team with an ID not in game.
  • Adding players with modded appearances.
  • Licensing/unlicensing teams, managers
  • Probably whatever option which is available on PC to hack (.cpk files) and not available on PS4 due to locked .cpk files

In other words - do not expect that each and every PC EDIT00000000 file will provide .ted files valid for PS4 importing (unlocked .cpk files in PC vs. fully locked .cpk files on PS4).
